Blanko’s mission is to organize leisure activities for its members and other students of information processing science. Activities are traditionally divided into official, unofficial, and sports. The boundaries of these categories are a bit blurry, but that hasn’t hindered the mood!

All Blanko’s announcements are sent to http://lists.oulu.fi/mailman/listinfo/blanko-wanhat email list. There are also job advertisements and information about Blanko’s events.
The freshers have their own list http://lists.oulu.fi/mailman/listinfo/blanko-fuksit. It has the same messages as Blanko-wanhat, plus special information only for freshers. It is the only list that freshers need to join. After the first year, freshers are moved to the Blanko-wanhat list.
