Guild room rules

General Rules of Order for the Catacomb Guild Rooms

  1. The following are prohibited in the guild room and its vicinity:
  • Smoking
  • Selling and serving alcoholic beverages (according to the Alcohol Act, the retail sale and serving of alcoholic beverages require an official permit)
  • Other activities that may disrupt the university’s activities
  • Making structural changes and other alterations without permission (for these, contact the administrative official of the university)
  1. If non-study-related events are held in the guild room on weekends or after 10:00 p.m., the administrative officials of the university must be notified. They will further inform the security department about the events. It is forbidden to stay overnight in the guild room.
  2. For the sake of the overall security of the university, the outer doors must be kept locked. Placing objects between the doors that prevent the doors from closing is prohibited.
  3. If the use of the guild room causes disorder or these rules of order are violated, the university can take away the right to use the guild room either temporarily or permanently.
  4. Vandalism results in compensation liability for the perpetrator.

In addition to the general rules, Blanko’s own rules of order apply to Blanko’s guild room

  1. The guild room is open from 8:00 to 17:00 for everyone. Outside of the opening hours, an electronic key or the university’s 24/7 campus card is required for entry. Guild actives may get entry rights to Blanko’s guild room if needed. Any member of Blanko can also apply for entry rights to the guild room. The applications are discussed at the board meeting whenever necessary. The applicant must have a good reason for wanting access.
  2. The guild room has objects intended for common use, which should be treated reasonably. There are also some disposable dishes and other party supplies that are not allowed to be used. If you want to drink or eat something in the guild room, you must bring your own dishes.
  3. As a general rule, the doors can be kept open during the day until around 17:00. After this, the last person to leave must make sure that all lights and electric appliances are turned off and the doors are locked. Any activity after 22:00 must be notified in advance to Blanko’s board by e-mail to .
