Any person who is a member of the register has the right to check the information stored about him/her in the register. The request for verification of the data must be sent in writing to the controller. The controller has the right, where appropriate, to ask the person making the request to prove his or her identity. The controller will reply to the applicant within the time limit laid down in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (as a general rule, within one month). The verification is free of charge once a year.

  1. Right to request correction of information

Every person covered by the register has the right to request the correction of data stored about him or her in the register. The request for correction of the data must be sent in writing to the controller. The controller has the right, where appropriate, to ask the person making the request to prove his or her identity. The controller will comply with the applicant’s request within the time limit laid down in the EU Data Protection Regulation (as a general rule, within one month).

  1. Other information relating to the processing of personal data

The data will be stored until the adoption of the financial statements for the financial year in progress at the time of the event, but not later than the end of April of the calendar year following the current calendar year.

Exception:

The financial and accounting obligations of an association are laid down in, inter alia, the Accounting and Associations Acts. Thus, personal data, for example in books, vouchers or other similar financial and accounting documents, are kept in accordance with the above-mentioned laws for a minimum period of 10 years.
